Activities

In fulfilling its objectives and purposes, the Foundation may carry out any activities permitted by current legislation, especially the following:

  • Development, promotion, and dissemination of biomedical research.
  • Development, promotion, and dissemination of knowledge about degenerative diseases in general and neurodegenerative diseases in particular.
  • Encouragement of interaction between research agents and economic agents to promote the industrial development of activities with high social value and high added value in the field of Biomedicine.

  • Royal Decree 1337/2005, of November 11, approving the Regulations of State Competence Foundations.

Tax Regime:

  • Law 49/2002, of December 23, on the Tax Regime of Non-Profit Entities and Tax Incentives for Sponsorship.
  • Royal Decree 1270/2003, of October 10, approving the Regulations for the Application of the Tax Regime of Non-Profit Entities and Tax Incentives for Sponsorship.
Accounting Regime:

  • Royal Decree 1491/2011, of October 24, approving the Adaptation of the General Accounting Plan to Non-Profit Entities.
  • Resolution of March 26, 2013, of the Accounting and Audit Institute, approving the Accounting Plan for Non-Profit Entities.
