As part of the University of La Laguna (ULL), the University Institute of Biomedical Technologies (ITB), is a specialist centre with huge potential for innovation and technology transfer that focuses on the discovery of new therapies to help tackle degenerative diseases. In this context, the Bioavance Foundation was created by the Regional Government of Tenerife to help the ULL to realise this potential.
